who we are
WÆSTM is a creative zine publication from ReGrowth. It’s a platform for the fat community to share ideas, explore fat issues, and appreciate art.
We assume our readers already understand that fatphobia is real, systemic and deadly. We’re not here to convince anyone of these essentials, but instead we want to go further.
We publish intersectional essays and reporting, poetry, visual art, and other hybrid forms. We accept work that centres fat voices, take ideas seriously and refuse to water down our politics.

We don’t chase virality or publish on a rigid schedule. We work with writers to publish sustainably.

We care about good writing. We work with contributors on structure, language, and form. We believe politics and craft are inseparable.
